Lake Peipsi 29-30 September 2011

My goal was to test Amphibear for longer tirp and some waves. As electric system was malfunctioning the trip became shorter than needed. Due to strong wind I got some waves to test at least. This post has also two short videos.

Bow plates push the most of water aside

Waves tend to rise reaching rear wheels for occasional splash

and splash cook bridge sometimes

Did some trolling, but the minimum speed is still too high for my trolling gear

As they said taking their photos with mobile phones Nobody believes

Nice exit point

In total covered 377 km on land and 65 km in water

Keri Island in Baltic Sea 24 - 25 June 2011

Distance covered on land 74 km. Distance covered on sea 58 km. Fuel used 37 l.

at meeting point of Jägala River and Baltic Sea

Driving on riverbed

This time was different, I had copilot

Sea was calm some 0,5m waves for attraction

and we were followed by rain

Warm welcome at Keri by Peep Rada

Anchoring at rocky coast, finally between 2 anchors after half hour effort

Next morning the trip around Keri

and back home on incredible sea

where only waves were the ones Amphibear created

Amphibear first journey on sea was 58 km
